Comings and Goings
Colleen Frankenfield (pictured), licensed as a registered nurse and nursing home administrator, was named president and chief executive officer of Lutheran Social Ministries of NJ (LSMNJ). The New Jersey Apartment Association (NJAA) named David H. Brogan its new executive director and executive vice president of government affairs and business development. A Mount Laurel resident, Brogan brings 17 years of experience in public and legislative affairs to the NJAA, where he will focus on increasing membership and revenue, elevating the NJAA’s government affairs activities, enhancing member benefits and education and raising the stature of both the NJAA and the NJAA Political Action Committee (PAC). Bancroft, a leading provider of programs and supports for children and adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities and adults needing neurological rehabilitation, promoted Fina Nash to senior vice president of business operations and innovation. Nash, who joined Bancroft in 2011, previously served as vice president of information technology, and will now oversee facilities and construction management, procurement, central records and transportation departments, as well as information technology within the organization. The Coriell Institute for Medical Research announced Dean Stois joined the organization as chief financial officer. It also announced Dr. Roland Schwarting was appointed to its board of trustees. As CFO, Stois will oversee Coriell’s financial infrastructure, while Schwarting joins a group composed of professionals from the fields of medicine, finance, law and public service. Kevin M. O’Dowd, Esq., was named senior executive vice president and chief administrative officer of Cooper University Health Care. In this position, O’Dowd will oversee business and organizational development including the MD Anderson Cooper partnership and the AmeriHealth New Jersey relationship. He will also oversee marketing, human resources, compliance oversight and corporate real estate and development. Prior to joining Cooper, O’Dowd served in the cabinet of Gov. Chris Christie. The Enterprise Center at Burlington County named Melanie Gaffin its new director of sales. Bringing more than 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry to the position, Gaffin’s role will be to help both new and existing clients create memorable events and productive escapes at the Enterprise Center. Janet Kozarksy joined Citizens Bank’s home lending solutions mid-Atlantic division, based in Marlton. Kozarsky has more than 20 years of home lending experience and formerly worked for Wells Fargo as a home mortgage consultant. David R. Dahan joined Evesham law firm Hyland Levin as a partner. Admitted to practice in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and the U.S. Supreme Court, Dahan’s practice includes the representation of executors, trustees and beneficiaries in estate litigation matters. Pennsauken-based RCM Technologies Inc. named Frank Petraglia its senior vice president. With more than 30 years of engineering management experience, Petraglia will oversee the engineering staff for the business and technology solutions provider in both Pennsauken and Oakland, as well as RCM/Point Comm in Ontario, Canada.

Woodbury-based DeSimone Construction Company, Inc. , celebrates its 40th anniversary this year. Founded in 1974, DeSimone is a custom construction company serving both commercial and residential clientele in the tri-state area. The Gloucester County Board of Chosen Freeholders recognized Nexus Properties, the developer of Rowan Boulevard’s third mixed-use building currently under construction, for the jobs the project is creating. The project is creating more than 400 temporary construction jobs and 100 permanent jobs, and is expected to be completed in July. Moorestown Ecumenical Neighborhood Development, Inc. (MEND) was named “Non Profit Organization of the Year” by the Non Profit Development Center of Southern New Jersey (NPDC-SNJ). In 2014 alone, three MEND projects created an estimated 495 construction jobs and 51 permanent full-time jobs, and provided housing for the elderly and those with special needs.
