Comings, goings, hirings and retirings in South Jersey.

The Camden County Regional Chamber of Commerce has named Anastasius “Tassos” Efstratiades chairman of its board of directors. Efstratiades is partner and co-chairman of the business and financing department at Obermayer Rebmann Maxwell & Hippel LLP. PHH Corp., headquartered in Mount Laurel, has named Glenn Messina chief operating officer, overseeing the company’s mortgage and fleet management units. Messina comes from General Electric, where he was chief executive officer of GE Chemical and Monitoring Solutions.

Habitat for Humanity Burlington County has added William F. Hyland Jr., partner at Marlton’s Hyland Levin LLP, to its board of directors. Robert Baranowski Jr., also at the firm, was named secretary of the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Land Use Section Board of Directors.

Mount Laurel’s ImpactRx, which studies physician prescribing behavior, has hired Kjell Nygren, Ph.D., as vice president, analytical services.

Christopher Lukach has been promoted to chief operating officer and senior vice president at Anne Klein Communications Group in Mount Laurel.

Steven Suflas, a managing partner at Ballard Spahr in Cherry Hill and a labor and employment law specialist, was named among the 100 most powerful corporate employment lawyers by Human Resources Executive. In June, he was also named a trustee of the New Jersey State Bar Association.

United Way of Burlington County has elected Glen J. Walton, partner at Bowman & Co. L.L.P. in Voorhees, to its board.

Dilworth Paxson LLP has brought on Michael J. Fekete as a partner in the litigation department of its Cherry Hill office.

Voorhees resident Jiyun Yuh has been named director of claims and risk control at Maran Corporate Risk Associates, which has offices in New Jersey and New York. Yuh was formerly a vice president at Conner Strong.

Harry Hayman, chief financial officer of CareKinesis in Moorestown, received a Hall of Fame Finalist Award from the New Jersey Technology Council.

Jim Yanucil, who owned seven Friendly’s restaurants in South Jersey, purchased five more franchises in the area and plans to renovate them this year.

Three-year-old signage and vehicle graphics firm Sunrise Signs is moving from West Deptford to Gloucester City, doubling its office and production space.

Washington Township resident Michael Sontag has been named chief operating officer of Hopeworks ‘N Camden, a nonprofit organization that offers learning opportunities to Camden’s inner-city youth.

Markeim-Chalmers of Cherry Hill has been granted exclusive listing rights to PREIT’s Voorhees Town Center office space, which totals around 85,000 square feet.

Cooper University Hospital has added a new, $5.6 million, 15-bed clinical decision unit to its ER offerings, to accommodate patients who don’t need to be admitted for inpatient care.

StreetSafe Driving Academy of Pennsylvania has opened its first South Jersey location in Haddonfield. The four-year-old company is staffed by off-duty police officers.

Camden County College is taking over the administration of Technical Institute of Camden County, the Camden County police academy and the regional emergency training center, in a move designed to streamline administrative costs.

Lourdes Health System has acquired South Jersey Heart Group, its second purchase this year of a large cardiology practice. The 17 cardiologists and five office locations will become part of Lourdes, but will maintain collaborations with Kennedy Health System and the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.

Gannett’s hyperlocal news network InJersey.com has suspended publication. Virtua broke ground on its Moorestown Health and Wellness Center, a 200,000-square-foot structure that will create 300 jobs and take approximately 18 months to complete.
